David Kilgour, former Canadian secretary of State for Asia-Pacific and renowned human rights lawyer David Matas, formed an investigation team to look into organ harvesting of Falun Gong Falun Gong practitioners in China.

After the release of their original report in July 2006, as of June 2007, David Matas and David Kilgour have been invited to speak in almost 30 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
