I have never had a good impression of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Since childhood, my observations and reflections on certain social events have lead me to feel even more strongly that the CCP is hypocritical, cruel and absurd. I participated in the pro-democracy movement in 1989, when I was in middle school. I distributed fliers and participated in pro-democracy parades in my county capital. Before I even figured out what exactly was going on, the CCP quickly strangled all efforts. It slaughtered everything and covered its tracks up by cleaning up all the blood stains. Afterwards, I became apathetic. I went to college and then started working. I even joined the CCP for pragmatic reasons. During my studies in Beijing, I met Falun Gong practitioners for the first time. I learned that Falun Gong practitioners were a community of people with faith and principles. They were kind, sincere and determined. After I started working, the persecution of Falun Gong began and I have always paid attention to it. In my heart, I understood that the CCP is really something evil. When history turns past this paper, many people will understand that they were deceived. I want to sharply denounce the people of China, including myself, as cowards. Since the last century, and especially during the Cultural Revolution, all those who in mainland who dared to speak out were murdered, leaving behind cowards willing to be submissive and shameful. Today, I solemnly announce that I withdraw from the CCP and all its related organizations! I am eagerly looking forward to the day that the CCP steps down. 2007-10-04 11:10 Xiang Kaihua Hunan Province, China October 4, 2007
