I am an 81-year-old retiree. My wife is 82 years old. We have four sons, four daughters-in-law, and four grandsons. For generations, our family worked as laborers. Because we did not know the truth and were deceived, my wife, I, and our three sons all joined the Chinese Communist Party. In the last few years, my wife and I have listened to Radio Free Asia and Voice of America every day. From these overseas media broadcasts I learned the true situation of the CCP. "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" is especially incisive detailed in its exposure of the CCP. I realized that the CCP is an evil cult, and that Jiang Zemin is a dictator. He has brought disasters to the people and the Chinese nation. From Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, to the rulers of today, they are all essentially the same in suppressing the people. I can now clearly see the crimes committed by the CCP.
Thirteen people in our 14-member family have published statements resigning from the CCP, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers, so that we can live with a clear conscience. The last person in the family is out of town and cannot be reached. Although we have already published our resignation statements, I would still like to say these words from the bottom of my heart. I thank the Epoch Times for helping us learn the truth.
