I am an army officer. I have seen all too often the CCP and the CCP members around me put their personal interests above the country’s benefit and disregard their responsibility for the nation and the suffering of the people. This really worries me. I have also seen the darkness and corruption in the whole society as moral standards decline precipitously. People with lofty ideals, ability, and morality don’t want to be associated with this evil Party. I have decided to break away from the evil CCP and nullify all the vows I have made to this evil specter. Hence I declare to withdraw from the CCP, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.
